I do not want to start to explain what is meditation, relaxation and similar meanings.
I am pretty sure, everybody heared at least once from somebody "Calm down, relax". Of course, you heared that.
But
every time, you think about, why you say that to me, I am not angry or
anxious. But sometimes we are the only one who doesn't realize what
exactly is inside us.
With everybody happens that we
forget to care about ourselves. We do not have time to work out, to have
massage, to have fun bla bla bla. But let me ask a question. Do you
have time to have a cigarette, have unnecessary discussion with your
friends, help even if you do not want?
We spend most of
our valuable time doing what we do not want. We say, we don't want, but
anyway we do it. What would be if you could take this time just being
with you? You would be your friend, you would be your listening partner,
you would be just with you. Why we always feel we do not deserve time
only for ourselves?!
For a long time I also thought it
is right to share my time, to try to save people who doesn't want to be
saved. But after a time I realized, it just doesn't worth. You could
take the time for you, doing something good what you want, what you
enjoy.
Meditation, relaxing is not just about sitting
and crossing your fingers and trying not to think. It can be a massage, a
wellness, a good wine, everything what you enjoy and makes you happy.
Real
meditation helps you to move forward. From our crowded mind I think,
nobody is able to change to a non-thinking mind, so for the first time
you should get familiar with the thought not to think.It can be scary,
especially for our EGO, what will shout by hearth, "I dont want it". But
we have to keep in mind, our EGO doesn't want the best for us. It makes
us doing things what we think like "Oh, but it is logical". But there
is a big difference between listening to your mind or listening to your
hearth. What you hear, is always depends on you.
To do meditation,
it can open up your soul and even when it is hard, it helps you to move
forward, know new ways, know your truth about yourself.
